The hottest music act in the world right now is Daft Punk. The French duo’s “Get Lucky” is the number one song in the country and their highly anticipated album, “Random Access Memories” lived up to the hype. Until today though, no one knew what Daft Punk members Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter had only appeared in public rocking their signature helmets.
While journalists had seen their faces before, there was an unwritten rule (understanding?) to never show their faces. The secrecy let de Homem-Christo and Bangalter keep their anonymity and live normal lives. Today, though, they were photographed helmet-less, by NYC-based electronic duo “The Knocks,” playing champagne pong. Not beer pong. Champagne pong. (Note: That’s how you know you’re what’s hot, when you play champagne pong.) At least ping pong had a small part in unmasking the world’s biggest act.
