A couple weeks back Cincinnati Reds Todd Frazier hit a homerun, now word is coming down that he has crazy ping pong skills. Cleveland Indians Pitcher Chris Perez better watch out.
A Deadspin reader named Ben recalled taking on Frazier at a little league tournament in the late 90s. At these tournaments all the different teams share dorms and hang out together in between games. Dorms + kids usually means there is a desperate need for entertainment and the Little League officials wisely went with ping pong:
Now I’m far from an expert at [ping-pong], but I wasn’t a pushover either. However, Mr Frazier was a force to be reckoned with. I mean, Forrest Gump good. As far as I saw and can remember (and I spent many, many hours around these tables) he never lost, which only served to feed the flames of my venomous jealousy…Anyway, reports of Todd Frazier’s freakish athletic ability and otherwise legend status cannot be overstated.
Check out the video of Frazier’s no-handed homerun and let us know if you have any video of Frazier playing.
