Martina Navratilova is one of the best tennis players in history. She was also one of tennis’ fiercest competitors. To keep the competition going in her life, Navratilova has agreed to be on this season’s Dancing With The Stars (along with Urkel, Gladys Knight, Donald Driver, and Maria Menounos among others). As part of joining the cast, Navritilova joined twitter (with the awesome @Martina handle).

So far the tweets have been eh. Except for one:

First of all, we love that Dancing With the Stars has a ping pong tournament.
Second, we love that maybe the greatest female tennis player of all time won.
Third, we love that the finals were Martina Navratilova vs one of the dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy. It leads to so many questions: do they celebs play on one side of the tournament draw and the dancers on the other? Did everyone have to play their partner in the first round? Can we please get a copy of the draw sheet?

Check out Martina with her paddle in hand. She should pick up a TTTN paddle since we know tennis players are even better with the Table Tennis Nation paddle. Could you imagine how good Navratilova would be with it?
