It will be the sixth global location of Spin, joining ones in New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Brussels and this fall, Chicago. There will be two bars involved in the SoMa branch, along with a full kitchen, private rooms, and of course, 16 ping-pong tables.
Due to open here this winter, Spin describes its concept as “an unusual mixture of sport, design and entertainment.” No word yet on the food component for the San Francisco outpost; the menus vary from city to city, but most include bar-friendly crowd-pleasers like hot dogs, pizza, sliders and such.
More west coast SPiN. It’s safe to say the tech crowd will be out in droves, plus the building looks amazing (and apparently lights up at night) and should feature plenty of ping pong with 16 tables.
