Table Tennis and Parkinson’s Disease

Posted on by TableTennisNation

We’ve discussed table tennis’ therapeutic effect for those stricken with Alzheimer’s and Dementia as well as some of the sport’s other therapeutic benefits, but we’ve never discussed Parkinson’s Disease. Parkinson’s attacks the nervous system and could seemingly make table tennis very difficult, but new groups are trying to use ping pong to mimic the benefits for other diseases.

Remember, the key to receiving the therapeutic effects is long rallies and no paddle is designed for longer rallies than the Table Tennis Nation paddle.

We’re trying to fight breast cancer with ping pong. When you design a paddle and use the code BRSTCANCER, we’ll make a donation to breast cancer research and prevention and we’ll give you a discount for helping out.
